A directory the units keep together.

Trees for Scouts is a co-op of independent Scouting units around Portland — troops, packs, and crews. Each one sells trees in December and recycles them in January, and each one has been doing it long enough to know its own streets. What they did not have was one place for a family to look.

That is all this site is. You enter a zip, we tell you which unit covers it, and you deal with that unit directly.

Where the money goes

Every dollar stays with the unit you buy from or book with. It pays for camp fees, gear, and travel for the Scouts in that unit. Trees for Scouts takes nothing — the co-op only runs the directory, and no money moves through this site.

How territory works

Units agree not to work the same streets, so each zip has one unit for curbside pickup and one for drop-off. Drop-off sites are the exception: they take a tree from anywhere, whether or not you are in their zips.
